It is our responsibility to promote the well-being of children and youth. Misconduct with youth and child abuse occur even in the most well-intentioned communities and can have a lasting negative impact on a youth's mental and physical health. Youth-serving organizations should be equipped with policies, procedures, and training to recognize, respond to, and report misconduct with youth, including suspected child abuse. This training will provide participants with information and tools to create or modify your institution’s youth protection policies and procedures. Additionally, participants will gain a better awareness of healthy relationships and appropriate boundaries between adults and youth.
